Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation practiced laying down on the mat (Savasana). It is a time of self-care and connection to yourself, and a time for deep relaxation. By progressively inviting your brain to tune down to Alpha waves, you are surfing right at the limit of consciousness and unconsciousness, thus creating a time and space of receptivity prone to let go of the past impressions and open up to new possibilities. Yoga Nidra is often followed by a very gentle short Yin practice.
