Yin yoga comes from the Taoist tradition and focuses on gentle long-held postures practiced with an attitude of compassionate acceptance of our physical, emotional and spiritual states. It opens up our body to more flexibility and energy flows, while engendering a more meditative quality of mind. Listening to our breath and the beating of our hearts, we encourage body and mind to connect with equanimity and balance.
